Be or become proficient will all Conservatory audio, media, and lighting equipment and troubleshoot any issues as necessary.Ensure all signs, banners, or placards are posted inside and around the building as necessary.Ensure all public spaces including restrooms, foyers, performance halls, and the stage are clean, trash free and all paper goods are stocked throughout all events.Run all audio, media and lighting during all events, concerts and events.Monitor off-stage and house doors for performers and speakers for efficient and seamless transitions, and minimal interruptions from house doors during events.Reconfigure any on stage assets or room assets during a concert or event as required.Move all assets between storage facilities and required spaces as necessary.Collaborate with programming team member, Artist-Faculty, or renter to set up the performance spaces and required rooms as needed.Stagehand and Stage/Media Technician Essential Duties: Perform any tasks or duties assigned by the Administrative Manager.Act as a liaison between the Conservatory and any rental organization and provide assistance as necessary.Monitor reception email and process/forward inquiries appropriately following all current Admissions procedures.Collaborate with the Administrative Manager and Facilities Manager to maintain and update various calendars and schedules.Manage room usage, including practice spaces and temporary room assignments.Provide general assistance to Artist-Faculty as needed.Assist all Programming teams or other staff as requested.Assist with active and upcoming classes and events including but not limited to, set up and change over of spaces, appropriate signage, and any other duties required by each class or event.Record and process payments received in-person and over the phone following all established internal control procedures.Maintain a safe, neat and clean environment in all areas of the front lobby, and common areas, ensure all restrooms are stocked with paper products.Be familiar with the full extent of OCM programs and be able to guide families toward opportunities that match their needs.Effectively communicate with all visitors, faculty and staff.Welcome all visitors and provide favorable first impression. ![]() The employee should expect to participate in occasional programs, events and meetings that occur before or after office hours, and on the weekends.Īdministrative Assistant Essential Duties: Current expected office hours are generally from 12:30p – 9:00p, Monday through Friday, occasional evening and weekend availability is required.
